Triton 1980 24ft yacht share

"Exempt" (fondly known as The Love Boat) is a 24ft yacht, built in 1980. At just $2500, this 1/8 share presents an excellent and extremely affordable way to dip your toe in the water if you're a boating beginner. And for those not new to sailing, you will have at your fingertips a low-cost, low-risk opportunity to experience the gorgeous waterways of Hobart and beyond in a reliable, sturdy vessel.

Exempt is perfect for leisure, family daysailing and sheltered water, short-term cruising. Being one of eight shares, you will have access to 6.5 weeks of sailing annually, divided across the year - this equates to a week of sailing, every eight weeks. In addition, the co-owners are a group of very awesome people and there is a great deal of flexibility for additional sailing when someone is unable to make use of their allocated week. Schedule swaps are also possible and this is all managed in a very low-key and friendly way via a WhatsApp group.

Each share holding contributes $100 / quarter to cover mooring, registration, insurance and repairs, with other costs not covered by the kitty, being split between the 8 share holdings as and when needed.
